We celebrate baptism for the forgiveness of sins during worship services on Sunday morning.  Baptism is a public welcoming into the Body of Christ and an opportunity for the congregation and community to make faithful promises on the baptized’s behalf.  If you are interested in learning more about baptism at St. John’s, contact one of the pastors.

“For they are no longer two, but one flesh.  Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:6

St. John’s is available for weddings to members.  Many couples contact St. John's because they are looking for a beautiful sanctuary for their ceremony, but the pastors at St. John's are most concerned with helping couples find a faith community for their marriage.  For this reason, we strongly recommend worshipping at St. John's and learning about the congregation before contacting the pastors with wedding requests.  Pre-marital counseling is required for couples and should begin approximately six months prior to the ceremony. 

He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. – Revelation 21:3-4

Funeral and memorial services will be conducted for members of the congregation and their families. Funerals and memorial services for non-members may be conducted in consultation with the pastors.
