Missionary Circle Will Host Dinner
When: Sunday, October 21, 5:00 p.m.
Where: St. John’s
What: Enjoy a special meal of pork loin with apples, potatoes, old-fashioned green bean dish, salad and dessert. Be entertained by the Metropolitan Boys Choir.
Why: To raise funds in support of Operation Bootstrap Africa
Who they are: Founded in 1965, Operation Bootstrap Africa (OBA) is a non-profit organization that partners with communities in Tanzania, Kenya, and Madagascar to help them educate their children.
Grounded in a “self- help” philosophy, Bootstrap works in partnership with local groups, uses local resources, and follows local priorities to improve access to education. Today, OBA supports a broad range of educational projects, from school construction to girls’ education and post-secondary education.
Please call the church office to make a dinner reservation. $15 for adults and $10 for children. Plan to come, enjoy a good meal and fellowship while helping to reach across continents.
