Justice Page Backpack Program

During the 2018-19 school year, St. John’s will continue to provide 15 backpacks of food to be given to Justice Page Middle School families.

Some changes have been made in the requested food list this fall. To avoid making the backpacks too heavy for students to carry, we are asking folks to choose food packets and plastic when possible. Food items include: peanut butter, packets of tuna and chicken (lighter weight than the cans),  cans of chunky soup/stew, canned ravioli, boxes or packets of dried noodle soups ( again lighter than the cans), canned peaches, pears and pineapple, canned corn, apple sauce (plastic only), pudding snack packs,  packets of hot cocoa mix, mac & cheese, small bags of brown rice, cereal: Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, Rice Krispies. Manual can openers are also needed.

Delivery of backpacks this month is planned for Thursday, November 15.

Thank you for your generosity!
