July has arrived! WOW it is HOT!! March 15th was the last time we assembled in worship together. Today is July 2nd and marks the 109th day since we last assembled at St. John’s. We cannot be together. I miss you. We miss each other. We are required to wear masks. And yet God is still calling to God’s church and so we press on... Justice Page Middle School still needs our support. Given the current health risk situation, the Social Workers at Page Middle School have asked if instead of filling backpacks with food we might provide Target and CUB gift cards for hungry families. St. John's continues to collect towels, socks, non-medical masks, toiletries (especially travel-sized) and blankets for the Harbor Light Shelter in Minneapolis. Missionary Circle is leading this effort to help meet heightened needs during this time when they must adapt to all-day sheltering. St. John's members and friends are invited to please bring your donations to the church where receptacles are available to receive your items.
