A Lutheran Perspective on Faith Traditions in America, is the resource for the next few sessions of ‘Bible Study & More’ with Pastor Mark and others. Hundreds of Christian denominations and dozens of non-Christian traditions have followers in the United States. How do we view this wide variety of beliefs and practices? How does the Lutheran tradition compare with others? All are welcome to come and explore key teachings, worship patterns and practices, and other aspects of main religious traditions in our country today. Sessions meet each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Lounge.
Volunteers from St. John’s are needed on Monday, July 22, 5:00 p.m. to serve the evening meal for the many guests of Loaves & Fishes at St. Stephen’s on Clinton Avenue. Celebrate a special day in your life or memorialize or honor a loved one by sponsoring flowers for our worship space. You are welcome to take home the arrangements after worship on Sunday. Please sign up on the flower chart located on the bulletin board outside of Fellowship Hall. Costs may vary - please check with the office for the time being. Checks will be payable to St. John’s; indicate “Flowers” in the memo line.
