A Lutheran Perspective on Faith Traditions in America, is the resource for the next few sessions of ‘Bible Study & More’ with Pastor Mark and others on Thursday mornings, beginning June 6 at 10 a.m. in St. John’s Lounge. Hundreds of Christian denominations and dozens of non-Christian traditions have followers in the United States. How do we view this wide variety of beliefs and practices? How does the Lutheran tradition compare with others? All are welcome to come and explore key teachings, worship patterns and practices, and other aspects of main religious traditions in our country today.

Note that we plan to publish annual reports of committees, task forces, all ministry teams in the June issue of the Messenger to give opportunity for review before the meeting on June 9. Please submit reports (and any other information for the June newsletter) to the church office by Tuesday, May 28 in order to be included.
However on Sunday, June 30 St. John's will worship at Lake Harriet at 10:00 am in collaboration with the St. Thomas the Apostle congregation again this year.
