Pastor Mark Tiede has returned from visiting India with Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry. Ask him about his trip! Come a few minutes early for a musical prelude.  Worship includes Holy Communion and special music every Sunday. Stay for fellowship over donuts and coffee.

Wednesdays in Lent

So, once again this year the midweek Lenten Worship services will be contemplative in nature. Soup is served (free will offering) at 5:00-5:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall, and worship starts at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Each week worshippers will enter the worship space in silence and in near darkness and wait. We will sing a little, hear readings, pray together, sit in intentionally long moments of silence, and bask in the peace and presence of Christ. Friday Night Fun: YOGA NIGHT RETURNS TO ST. JOHN’S

On Friday, March 15th, from 5:30-7 p.m., join us for a night of healthy food and exercise in the new year. Sarah Dutton from Mad Hatter Wellness will guide us through some family-friendly Yoga. Her organization’s mission is to “provide learning opportunities that empower people of all abilities with knowledge and skills to make joyful, healthy choices,” and that’s exactly what she’ll be helping us do on March 15th! Children Youth and Family Activities

Sunday School from 9:15-10 a.m. (ages 3 - 6th grade) Adult Sunday School, 9:15 a.m. (fellowship hall) - a new opportunity for Bible study based on the Sunday's Gospel text. A great place to continue exploring your faith, and an even better place to strengthen relationships with mentors in the congregation. Loaves & Fishes—Monday, March 25, 5:00 p.m.

Justice Page Backpack Program

Our amazing childcare families are partnering with us to replenish the food shelf at Justice Page Middle School. Justice Page Middle School  is very grateful for our offer to replenish their family food shelf in March! This will be a blessing prior to Spring Break. The Spring Break food shelf drive is in addition to our regular drop off of 15 backpacks. Scholastic Book Fair

Come and visit our Scholastic Book Fair in St. John’s Lounge, March 19-21 from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The Child Care earns lots of free books to restock our classroom libraries when people purchase books at our fair! St. John’s Child Care
