“I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” – Mark 1:8
We celebrate baptism during worship services on Sunday morning. Baptism is a public welcoming into the Body of Christ and an opportunity for the congregation and community to make faithful promises on the baptized’s behalf. If you are interested in learning more about baptism at St. John’s Lutheran Church, contact the pastor.
“For they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:6
St. John’s is available for weddings. All who are interested in getting married at St. John’s are welcome and encouraged to first attend a worship service on a Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. this summer) to meet the people of St. John’s, experience the style of worship, and behold the beautiful sanctuary. Then make an appointment to meet with Pastor Mark to discuss your request.
He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. – Revelation 21:3-4
Funeral and memorial services may be conducted at St. John’s Lutheran Church. If you are in need of a pastor for a funeral, please contact Pastor Mark. Based on Pastor Mark’s schedule and the Church’s calendar, he could be available for a service either at St. John’s or at the funeral home.
