St. John’s invites you to join us this Friday for our November Friday Night Fun!

St. John’s Presents: “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on Friday, November 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. What fun will the night hold? We’ll gather in the St. John’s Lounge for Thanksgiving-themed crafts and activities. 6 p.m. — We’ll fill our plates with pizza and settle in to watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on our new projector screen! The movie is family-friendly and only 30 minutes long. Thanksgiving Eve Worship…6:00 p.m.

...and pie Wednesday, November 21, 6:00 p.m! This year, the worship committee is asking that we connect our message of thanksgiving to the theme of “God’s Work, Our Hands” with which we began our program year in September. On Thanksgiving Eve, please bring a physical object that represents how God’s work is manifested by your hands both inside and outside the church. Wednesdays in Advent

Beginning on Wednesday, November 28, we’ll gather for a meal at 5:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, then move to the Chapel for a worship time from 6:00-6:30 pm. Hark, the Glad Sound! is our theme for mid-week worship and celebration at St. John’s this Advent season. From each verse ofthe hymn, “Hark, the Glad Sound,” one can draw a connect to our Core Values. Each Wednesday evening in Advent we will focus on one of these Values—Welcoming, Worshiping, Healing or Serving—with a unique style of worship and activities together.
