St. John’s Book Club Sunday, October 28

Our next book will be a collaboration with the RIC committee (Reconciling in Christ). Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by Amy Ellis Nutt is the book we will read and discuss on October 28! Bring your questions, thoughts, comments (and coffee/donut!) at 11:15 a.m. for a lively discussion. September 30 — Bach and Rameau

MUSIC SERIES: Bach and Rameau St. John’s Music Series and our worship team is excited to present Bach and Rameau, a morning of baroque music with period-style instruments featuring Seulgee Lee Nelson on harpsichord, SungAe Song, traverso (baroque flute), and Julie Elhard, viola da gamba. The trio will present a preview of their recital during worship on September 30. A brief recital will follow fellowship hour“Bach” up in the sanctuary at 11:45. All ages welcome!

Get your Flu Vaccination Here

TRUST, in partnership with MVNA/Hennepin Healthcare, will once again be sponsoring flu shot clinics. St. John’s Lutheran Church’s flu shot clinic will be held Sunday, September 16, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Library/Lounge. Reminders:  To have Medicare billed, please bring both your Medicare & Part B cards.  Ages 3 years and older may receive the flu vac- cination with parent/guardian’s consent.  There are numerous insurance plans accepted this year.
