WELCOME, CHILDREN!

Come to Sunday school before worship at 9:00 a.m. for music, Bible stories and crafts. Nursery care is offered for those up to age six during worship each Sunday. Activity bags can also be found in the narthex.

Food for Families of Ramsey Students

Wednesday, June 7 will be the final backpack drop-off time for this school year. Donations will be due Sunday, June 4, and we will fill backpacks for delivery to Ramsey on Wednesday, June 7. Packing help is appreciated; you may contact Tamara Gebhardt at gebhardtfamily@msn.com. Requested foods are canned corn, peanut butter, rice, canned tuna or chicken, canned fruit, mac & cheese, canned ravioli or spaghettios and cereal (Cheerios, Rice Krispies and MiniWheats). COME, MAKE LEFSE! Saturday morning, November 12 Have you always wanted to learn how to make Norwegian lefse? Here's your chance! Join in a fun morning of lefse-making in St. John’s fellowship hall on Saturday, November 12 starting at 10:30 a.m. Led by Mark Stagg, Sean Stagg’s father, we’ll roll and grill and fold our lefse; then, on Sunday, November 13, the lefse will be sold during fellowship hour with proceeds benefitting St. John’s ministry with Ramsey Middle School youth and families. A Message from the Pastor — October 2016

October 2016: Already within the first month of our new program year focusing on Growing:  our relationships with Christ; aka our faith,  our relationships with our Church Family, aka fellowship,  our relationships with our Neighbors; aka our friendships, backpacks of food for Ramsey Middle School families have already been filled once, St. John’s Youth have already met twice, Missionary Circle has convened; the building is humming all the time with the sounds of children laughing, singing (and crying too especially when they wake from the naps), choirs, brass, and hand bells rehearsals; and as October arrives the [...]

Winter at Camp Chi Rho!

During the first weekend of January, a group cancelled but I was able to fill one of the days with a local family who rented out the lodge. They were super excited to make future reservations to utilize the camp.  During the last two weekends we had returning groups. One was a ladies’ group from a Twin Cities church. On the last weekend Pastor Orval continued a men's retreat tradition of over 10 years. They came from the local small town of Kingston: Kingston ALC. February is a busy month!
